About Patrick Vining

Patrick Vining has been singing all of his life. Singing is the only career choice he ever wanted to make. He grew up singing in church, and various choirs. Somewhere during that time, Patrick discovered that he could get into some of the Country music bars underage. He didn’t care about drinking all he wanted to do was sing. These bars provided that. All of them had talent contests that would let contestants sing with the band. Patrick won quite a few of these contests.

A few years into Country music, a friend played Patrick a Muddy Waters record. This one event changed everything for Patrick. From then on The Blues were his mission. Patrick sang in several local Blues bands and was then approached by Atlanta Georgia based Ichiban Records. Patrick released a CD on Ichiban Records called "Blues With Bite" in 1998. He toured mainly the southeast behind that CD. Shortly after that Ichiban ran into financial difficulty and allowed Patrick out of his contract. He quickly signed with JSP records out of London England. He released a CD on JSP in 1999 called "Ready Right Now". Patrick and his band and toured nationwide behind this release. After touring over 200 nights a year for a few years, Patrick took a break. During his "break" Patrick lent his vocal talents to New Jersey based Blues Rock band Magic Red and the Voodoo Tribe. Then venturing back out on his own Patrick returned with a release on CMO records called "That Away You Move Me". Again financial difficulties with the record label kept this record from reaching its full potential. Frustrated with the music business he decided to take a break. Shortly after deciding to take a break, the Blues bug bit again and Patrick returned to playing locally.

In 2006, Patrick re-released his 1999 release "Ready Right Now" with the help of a friend on Fin Soup/Prosper Records. This CD has been reissued under the title "Released" and has a whole new group of fans talking. Look for Patrick on tour near you!
